Millman CPA Strategic Solutions, PC was established as a full service CPA firm to serve the tax, accounting and consulting needs of individuals and small businesses in the Nashville area. Lisa Mays Millman, CPA

Lisa Mays Millman, CPA is the President of Millman CPA Strategic Solutions, PC, which she founded in May 2005 to provide high-quality accounting services to small businesses, individuals, and nonprofit organizations at reasonable fees. Her goal is straightforward yet impactful: to make a meaningful difference in the lives of her clients.

Lisa brings over 30 years of experience in the accounting profession, having started her career with a Fortune 500 company after graduating from Western Kentucky University. She has served as a partner in a local accounting firm and worked for a regional firm, giving her a well-rounded perspective on client service and strategic financial leadership. Lisa is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants, and Thriveal.

In addition to her client work, Lisa believes strongly in giving back—both to her local community and the accounting profession. Her leadership and volunteer experience include:

• Former Member and Secretary of the Tennessee State Board of Accountancy
• Former committee member for multiple NASBA (National Association of State Boards of Accountancy) initiatives
• Former Vice President of Finance and Treasurer for the Junior League of Nashville
• Former Board member for the White House Chamber of Commerce and All About Women
• Former PTO President and Co-chair at her children's schools
• First female Alderman for the City of White House, appointed in 2005
• Former Treasurer of Grace Place Ministries

Lisa’s excellence in the accounting profession was recognized by the Nashville Post in 2012 as one of the accounting profession’s finest and by the Nashville Business Journal as a Power Leader in Accounting.

Lisa is also the Founder and Executive Director of Active Abundance, a nonprofit ministry that provides outdoor retreats and discipleship for women in wilderness seasons of healing. This role reflects her heart for service and her passion for walking alongside women through life’s toughest seasons.

What sets Millman CPA apart is our commitment to excellence and personal attention. While Lisa has personally performed all accounting and tax work for many years, she is now building a trusted team to expand capacity-ensuring every client continues to receive the high-quality, partner-level service that has defined the firm, with the added support of a growing and dedicated staff.

Outside the office, Lisa enjoys spending time with her family and friends, running, hiking, traveling, in discipleship, reading, and catching a great movie.

Clayton Stickel

Clayton Stickel is a Staff Accountant at Millman CPA Strategic Solutions, PC, where he supports both the Client Accounting Services (CAS) and tax departments. He graduated from Western Kentucky University and is currently continuing his education in accounting to meet the qualifications to sit for the CPA exam.

Clayton brings strong attention to detail and a growing depth of knowledge to each client engagement, helping ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and tax compliance.

When he’s not in the office, Clayton enjoys riding his motorcycle, spending time with family and friends, and exploring new ways to challenge himself—both personally and professionally.
